In addition, we provide complex legal support to cultural institutions, in particular museums and theatres. Our services cover – among others – issues concerning internal regulatory practices and asset management, as well as labor law and copyright cases.
Legal support for higher education institutions and institutional companies
We provide practical expertise in the review of institutional licenses, the organization of specific training courses, as well as the handling of legal issues arising from institutional transformation, mergers, reorganization and changes to legal form. Our services also cover legal tasks related to the establishment and operation of private higher education institutions.
We have expertise in the regulatory practices of such institutions, the task in relation to public procurements, and also the identification of the applicable sectoral asset management requirements. Student-related matters
We offer legal advice regarding student and pre-student status and legal representation in litigation in specific related matters, such as classification or reclassification of students to either full or partially scholarship-based courses or self-financed courses, the calculation or recognition of higher educational credits, and also examining the prerequisites for obtaining a final certificate and degree. We also provide legal advice and legal representation in litigation arising from certain decisions – or the absence thereof – adopted by institutions affecting students, such as disciplinary procedures or the single-acted termination of student status.
